Liquid Petroleum Gas also known as LPG, “Elpiji”, GPL or LP Gas is a mixture of hydrocarbon gases used as a fuel for burner, furnace and many more. To date LPG could also replace petrol for vehicle, replacing Chlorofluorocarbone as a refrigerant to reduce demage on ozone layer coused by Freon and also to replace aerosol for propellant.

Liquid Petroleum Gas can be as LPG mixed of Propane and Butane, LPG Propane and LPG Butane. Most commonlay available in the market is LPG mixed where the composition of Propane and Butane can vary from 20P/80B to 80P/20B subject to the original gas composition from the LPG plant. Most LPG in the market has ethyl mercaptant (LPG odorant) added to give strong smell of LPG in case of leakage.
